Privacy Policy

We treat your data the way we'd want our own treated. Plain English; no fine print designed to obscure.

01

What we collect

When you fill out our audit request form or contact us, we collect: name, work email, company, website, optional information about your marketing spend, and any notes you choose to share. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address only.

When you visit our website, we collect standard analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location (city-level), device type, referrer, and time on page. We use first-party analytics — we do not sell or syndicate this data.

02

How we use it

Audit form submissions are used solely to schedule the diagnostic call and produce the written audit. We do not add audit-form contacts to a marketing list without explicit opt-in.

Newsletter contacts receive only the newsletter and can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. Analytics data is used to improve the site and understand which content is useful — never to retarget you with ads off-site.

03

What we do not do

We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not share it with advertising networks. We do not buy email lists or use scraped contact data. We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking.

04

Cookies & analytics

We use first-party cookies for site preferences and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser without affecting site functionality.

05

Data retention

Audit-form submissions are kept for the duration of the engagement and up to 24 months after, then archived. Newsletter contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymized analytics data is retained per standard analytics provider terms (typically 14–26 months).

06

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing team@marketive.com. We respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU, UK, or California, additional rights apply under GDPR / CCPA. You have the right to opt out of any processing, request a copy of your data, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

07

Client engagement data

When we work with you as a client, we process data on your behalf as a data processor (you are the data controller). The terms of that processing are governed by our master services agreement and any data processing addendum signed at engagement start — not by this policy.

08
